The Standards

The first step toward a fit, healthy and actually more youthful life is to establish some set of meaningful standards; some way of knowing your own abilities and capacities.

The Fusion Fitness Performance Standards are derived from seven fundamental qualities of a fit and healthy body:

  • Leanness
  • Strength
  • Flexibility / Balance
  • Core endurance
  • Power
  • Stamina
  • Aerobic Capacity

By testing these components, you can find out how areas that need your more immediate attention and, perhaps more importantly, help you get started on a program that’s right for you.

And, each Element targets and improves one or more of the seven fundamental qualities of a fit and healthy body.

The Fusion Fitness Performance Standards test is free. Download the Fusion Fitness Performance Standards Score Card and and then go to the Fusion Fitness Performance Standards Assessment (it has all of the tests including instructional video).

Even if you don’t choose to join the FusionTribe, you’ll still know your own abilities.

The free score card has room for recording three series of tests. I suggest you take the test and based on the results, train for at least six weeks then take those sections of the test in which you had a low score. Repeat this process until you reach a 90% score or higher overall and have improved the lower scores. Many people can achieve this with one score card, however, you can either make a copy of the very first one so you have a blank form available to you or download another one.
