You Are What You Eat

Food is a drug. And I don’t mean a drug that you get addicted to but a drug that has effects on you.

Think about it.

A drug, by definition, is any substance that, when absorbed into the body of a living organism, alters normal bodily function.1

Sounds like food to me. Food has a dramatic impact on hormone levels, blood glucose, and fat oxidation among other things.

What you eat matters.

We believe in “clean eating”. Clean eating is composed of whole, natural foods with higher than USDA recommended fat and protein (and we have the science to back us up), no refined carbohydrates, sugars, tons of vegetables, moderate amount of fruit, limited, selected grains and occasional alcohol (red wine or Vodka is best). The cleaner you can make your meals, the better. You’ll lose fat, boost your energy level and just generally feel better.
